The Forging Futures Education Fund provides grants in aid to Gillespie County residents for academic performance and financial needs and significantly impacts the recipients and community.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Resident of Gillespie County
- Prior academic performance
- Financial Need
- The scholarship committee's conclusions as to the applicant's
motivation, direction, character, ability and potential for benefiting the recipient and community student living in.
- Planning to attend an accredited institution that provides an educational program acceptable for full credit towards a bachelor's degree
- Post-secondary degree
- vocational training program
- certification program
that prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation.
* Most scholarships are renewable in order to achieve the intended goal.
