Forging Futures Education Fund provides scholarships to help Gillespie County students and residents pursue education and training that leads to meaningful careers. Our scholarships aren't limited to traditional four-year universities—we believe education comes in many forms.

Before You Apply

Eligibility Criteria

Scholarships are awarded after consideration of the applicant's educational goals, academic performance, financial circumstances and potential for benefiting both themselves and their community.

Gillespie County Residency Applicants must be residents of Gillespie County.
Educational Program Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, vocational or technical program, or eligible certification program.
Academic Performance Prior academic performance and demonstrated ability to successfully complete the chosen program are considered.
Financial Need Financial circumstances are considered as part of the scholarship evaluation process.
Motivation & Future Goals The Scholarship Committee considers each applicant's motivation, direction, character, educational goals and potential impact on the community.
